Sky-High Thrills Return: The 2025 Apple Valley Airshow Takes Flight

Oct 9, 2025 | Community Life

Mark your calendars — the 22nd Annual Apple Valley Airshow returns on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Apple Valley Airport. This beloved High Desert tradition is back and bigger than ever, promising a full day of high-flying action, classic cars, family fun, and community pride.

This year’s lineup features an incredible roster of jets, aerobatic performers, warbird fly-bys, skydivers, formation flying teams, and static aircraft displays. The show opens with the National Anthem performed by Stephanie Goetz, followed by a spectacular skydiving display featuring the American flag. From the roaring MiG-17 flown by Jason Somes to the elegant precision of the Palm Springs Air Museum’s P-51 Mustang “Bunny”, every moment promises to keep spectators looking to the skies in awe.

Other highlights include performances by the Undaunted Airshows, Anthony Oshinuga in the Pitts Special, Brad Wursten in the MX2, and Vicky Benzing in the P-51 “Plum Crazy.” Fans of classic aviation won’t want to miss the Planes of Fame Air Museum’s aerial warbird demonstration, featuring the legendary P-40 Warhawk and F4U Corsair, alongside a static display of the TBM-3E Avenger.

Down on the ground, the excitement continues with the NAPA Auto Parts “Show and Shine” Car Show, Inglis Classics Hot Rod Hotties, and Sunland Ford Exhibition. The STEM Expo, sponsored by General Atomics and Edwards Air Force Base, will inspire young minds with hands-on science and aviation activities. Visitors can also enjoy displays of motorcycles, military vehicles, and precision exotic cars, along with food vendors, community booths, and fun for all ages.

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses to stay comfortable throughout the day. Please note: no large umbrellas, canopies, coolers, alcohol, or pets (except certified service animals) are permitted.
