Drivers in Victorville should be aware of upcoming lane closures on Bear Valley Road for utility upgrades. From September 25 through September 29, the right lane of westbound Bear Valley Road at Cottonwood Avenue will be closed. The first closure takes place overnight on Thursday, September 25, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., stretching from Locust Avenue to Mariposa Road. A second closure will begin Friday, September 26, at 8 p.m. and continue through Monday, September 29, at 4 a.m. During this time, four-way flashing red lights will be active at the Bear Valley Road and Cottonwood Avenue intersection.

Traffic control devices and warning signs will be in place, with flaggers on-site nightly to help direct vehicles. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and expect delays.
